"S.B. County names new voting official"

"San Bernardino County has named a veteran Riverside voting official to run its voting operations.

Kari Verjil, former chief deputy registrar for the Riverside County registrar of voters, will become San Bernardino County's registrar of voters on June 27. She replaces Scott Konopasek who left in November after personality clashes with supervisors and delayed election results in the March 2004 primary."
