This weblog is intended to provide California election officials and government election attorneys the latest news on developments in election law. It is published by Randy Riddle, former Chief Counsel to the California Secretary of State, who now practices election and government law with the San Francisco law firm of Renne Sloan Holtzman Sakai LLP. Prior to serving as Chief Counsel, Randy served as a San Francisco Deputy City Attorney for fifteen years. During his tenure with the City Attorney's Office, Randy was Chief of Government Litigation for three years, and served as counsel to the San Francisco Registrar of Voters for nearly ten years.
